No: that's not at all what I was thinking.

Some good and correct answers there which I have cut in to the original quiz.  The quiz is a European one - 10 pictures in 10 different countries which is why I expect some to be very difficult in addition to the dark.

I think 3. maybe Swansea, but not certain.

Sometimes, perhaps, the obvious answer is the right one - 8. Milan Centrale.

4. Świętokrzyska metro station, Warszawa.

5. looks a bit difficult, doesn't it?

I thought when  I saw that Irish one that we've seen that before, in a trip report or a quiz or both. And I think the same place did come up in May's quiz, though seen the next morning (but still with all the lights on) from further back.

In which case it's Athlone - but the only earlier photo I can find was not the same one, it was taken the same night but from the far end backtheway.

Yes it is Athlone - stayed there several days so not sure if it was the same night ...

Yes, it is ... as far NW as you can get if you exclude the terminus at Ferrol which it is clearly not!

I thought getting the right line was the hard bit, and after that it's just a matter of looking up the relevant trip report. OK, you need to know where to find that - and the same picture was posted there two years ago, identified as San Xoán.
