Problems Thurs 25th June 2026
Amongst all the heat-related problems today...
Journeycheck is reporting multiple axle counter problems between Bath and Bristol this evening. It's difficult to tell how much effect this is having as so many trains have been cancelled anyway.
Not sure how it relates, but, as I write this at 21:47, the last train to call at Bradford on Avon seems to have been Cardiff-Portsmouth (truncated to Bristol-Fratton) at 17:37. At least one Bristol-Portsmouth service (1F27) appears to have run via Melksham, and one in the opposite direction (1F28).
Just in: 1F32 Fratton-Cardiff has called at BoA at 21:58.
Edit: disruption (due to axle counters) reported sorted at 21:51.
