Of the ones identified so far I have been to Fort William, Stranraer and Basingstoke. Only been through the others.

Duke Street (Glasgow) - DST

During my early working life I lived for several years close(ish) to Glasgow but never used this station.

Ingatestone - INT, row 2. One I've been through quite often (but never, I think, got off at by mistake for Chelmsford).

BSK is Basingstoke; I’ve made many journeys starting from there, and at other times changed trains.

STR: Stranraer - never visited.

There is most definitely no CHO where most of my rail journeys start and finish!

Right then, I’ll set the ball rolling by mixing my metaphors and picking some low-hanging fruit:

ASH = Ash, Surrey. I haven’t visited!

Hidden in the puzzle above are 20 three letter codes. Start anywhere and read horizontal, vertical or diagonal, forwards or sdrawkcab. How many can you spot, and how many of them have you visited?  With the help of Cato and Rasmus, I can identify the 20, I have visited 7 to get on or off a train, and I have passed through the majority - just one I am in doubt about.
