James, I have a similar thread running (sorry ... didn't realise the crossover).  Slightly out of area, but I see one of the worst is out from Southampron in the evening peak.   Same trains, of course!

Does anybody make a regular journey on a short formed train, if so, let me know on this thread when it happens, so we can keep a record, as I would like to see which trains to "target" in the upcoming half term
